Tuesday, June 3. 2008Licensing rules changeStarting July 8, 2008 Utah will be using a tiered licensing system for motorcycle endorsements.
If you take a motorcycle safety class on a 250cc, successful completion will waive the riding part of the license test for an up to 649cc endorsement. To get an endorsement for motorcycles above 649cc you must use your larger motorcycle in our class. To use your bike in our class you must have a permit, registration, and insurance. If you currently ride a motorcycle over 649cc you may also obtain a skill test waiver by successfully completing our License Waiver Experienced Rider Course (ERC). The cost for this 5 hour course is $85. Thursday, May 8. 2008Riding is in the air!We have opened up full swing with most of our schedules and locations! Sunday, March 19. 2006Course Dates Many folks call or email and ask why there are no dates listed on this site. We list the days of the week that courses are scheduled to run. If we listed dates, they would need to be changed a few times a day as classes fill. People often change their reservations creating openings in previously full classes. The Wed-Sat-Sun runs every week in Ogden and SLC. A new Sat-Sat starts every week in Salt Lake, and every other week in Ogden. Sun-Sun is typically once a month, and weekday evening classes, Mon-Thurs, are every week starting in late April. Every week means just that, typically including hollidays, March - October. Please take a look at the schedules listed, then check your calendar, and give us a call at 801-394-6564. We will let you know the next available openings. If none of the listed schedules work for you, maybe we can customise one for you. Being safe and comfortable are priorities in our courses, so please consider the following when preparing for class. Stay hydrated before class, as well as during. We supply bottled water to help with that. Wear appropriate attire. Long sleeves are required, and a light colored long sleeve shirt will help keep you cooler. If you would feel safer with a jacket, please consider the climate when choosing the one to wear. Additionally, Large heavy boots may not work well with our smaller bikes foot controls. Consider high top Tennis shoes or light weight hikers. We look forward to helping you get the most out of your riding experience, so if you have any questions that our FAQ does not answer, please email or call. Thanks.Sunday, April 10. 2005Class Photographs Have you recently taken one of our courses? We now have complimentary class photo's posted in our Photo Gallery.
